How ProLEER Works

HOW PROLEER WORKS

Professionals in education from nine core countries form the ProLEER network. ProLEER holds an annual meeting at Harvard University’s David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies to share evidence-based research, practice, and policy and to work on a yearly country-specific agenda driven by the ultimate goal of strengthening children’s learning in Latin America. ProLEER also runs an online program of talks and panel discussions on key educational issues open to educational professionals.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Steering Committee

The ProLEER Steering Committee facilitates the planning and organization of the annual meeting and online program. It is composed of Co-Chairs, a Director, Founding Members, and Country Coordinators.

Country Coordinators

Country coordinators are respected leaders in education who facilitate ProLEER’s work in their respective countries, inviting new members to participate in the annual meeting and online program, and executing an in-country agenda in collaboration with other ProLEER colleagues.
